Moroccan journalists participate in international press seminar in Brussels
A group of Moroccan journalists representing many national press outlets are taking part in the international seminar for Mediterranean journalists organised on May 29-31 in Brussels.
The three-day event will see the participation of representatives of some 60 Mediterranean media institutions. Attendees will discuss the role of the media in Europe and the MENA regions, and will meet high officials of the European Commission, senior leaders in charge of EU-MENA cooperation.
The seminar is part of the programme “Europe for Mediterranean Journalists”, a project jointly financed by MEDA and the regional Information and communication programme.
The programme aims at raising awareness of the EU activities in the Mediterranean countries, through allowing journalists to have a greater, more informed knowledge when they present Euromed partnership-related information to their audiences.
The 18-month programme will include seminars, conferences and workshops which will bring together journalists from all Mediterranean countries.
