I once read this word and found in interesting but I did not know where the -K- came from
see the part about Tamz'ki.
In an essay of Abdellah El Mountassir published in Etudes Berberes 3, I found a short explination in a quote:
En tachelhit, l'adjonction de la consonne tendue kk dans certains mots peut avoir la valeur de la petitesse extrême : imz'z'ikk "trop petit, minuscule " < imz'z'i"être petit".
------
Tamz'ki: childhood / enfance
extrait; d'Al-kunki:
"There are some who study the Koran from childhood until their beards hang on their chests...."
” illa may yaqqran lqur’an zzgh tamz’ki nns ar kix tugwla tamart nns f idmarn nns... ”
