Re : Certain/s

The Ayt Ndir have CA (cra/kra) but it means 'quelque chose'
The word [yits/yuts] is used in the middle-atlas and southe-east as far as I know.

ce qui attire mon attention dans cette phrase c'est le l'expression negative

Ur da jijjiyen

Chez nous lorsqu'on passe à la forme negative des formes du present comme

ar+ verbe ou da+verbe les "modal" ar et da disparaissent et sont remplacés par le modal "a"

par exemple on dira :

da sijjiyen: ur a sijjiyen
ar sijjiyen: ur a sijjiyen

j'ai egalement lu un proverbe que tu as donnée Idir ou on a ce phenomene (l'auteur est du domaine chleuh Awzal): tizzwa da tawwint adû n tamment mqqar nn taggug, agaymru ur ar tt ittkdû tt yâz

Afra a Idir,

I confirm what Mohand1978 had said above. "Kra" is in our daily usage to refer to "someone", but it also means "something". One will say for instance:

"I mun d kra" = He was with someone.
"Wanna ira y'adln kra, y'adlt" = Do it yourself.

However, kra could somehow be used as the equivalent of "some"; let us take again the latter examples:

"I mun d kra n'imdakuln" = He was with some friends
"Wanna ira y'adln kra n'tawuri, yadlt" = Do things yourself.

afra ghifk Amzwaru,

I already knew the use of kra/cra/ca but our language is richer, that's why I mentioned it.
I hear it frequently in south-east morocco, and read it in the book of Bisson and also M.Taifi.
Keep it rich ;-)

Ah OK Idir, for the sake of widening the glossary here then...I thought you had questioned the use of "kra". Anyway, thanks for having shared this useful information.

Keep it real ;-)

kra is pronounced CRA by ait warayn and CA by Ighezrane and Ait seghrouchen.
I think in tarifit they pronounce it CA.
