The Music made in the Moroccan Sahara is classed as musiqa sahrawia, as an appart kind of music. But in reality it does not differ from the amazigh music in the surrounding countries from Imuhagh and Zenaga Imazighen. But Can we speak of a music genre which includes the music of the Souss as Azawan Amazigh n iffus, it is a real african genre just look at the Sudanese, Ethiopean, Eritrean, Somalian music.
